Fridrik Karlsson

Fridrik Karlsson has been a professional musician since the early age of sixteen and holds a degree in Classical and Jazz/Rock guitar. He enjoyed his first international success with the group Mezzoforte in 1983 with the U.K. top ten hit, Garden Party.

Since moving to England in 1996 from his native Iceland Fridrik has been involved in various music projects. TV work includes accompanying world famous singers, such as Madonna, Jose Carreras, and Tom Jones. Movie soundtracks include Evita and Hercules and he has played in various West End Musicals and related video productions including: Cats. He has also appeared on various albums and singles for artists like Boyzone, Westlife,S-Club7, Atomic Kitten, Kate Winslet, and Ronan Keating.

Fridrik has great interest in personal development and relaxation practices and holds a Master Practitioner certification in NLP, Timeline Therapy and Hypnosis. He has also studied the Indian Ayurvedic science in depth, as well as Yoga, Reiki and ancient Hawaiian Huna. He founded River of Light Records with his wife Steindora in 1997.
